Sondra Rubin
Sondra Rubin is a NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association) Board Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Educator. She is a passionate healer, educator and has acquired her education from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Additionally, she has furthered her Ayurvedic Medical knowledge by traveling to Kerala, India. There she learned in depth concepts of this ancient Indian medicine taught by top Ayurvedic Doctors in one of India’s Best Ayurvedic Hospitals (Amrita Ayurveda Hospital). She has studied and interned under Dr. Kizhakkeveettil, BAMS, MAOM, L.Ac., CMT, Ph.D. (Dr. Anu). Sondra has named her practice after Dr. Anu, in admiration of her dedication and strength to growing Ayurveda in the United States.
Sondra currently has an Ayurvedic Practice located in Henderson, Nevada where she provides individualized Ayurvedic protocols which includes diet, lifestyle and herbal treatments. These specific healing plans may also include yoga/breathing exercises, external therapies or detox therapies (Panchakarma). She has developed a network of Massage Therapists located in Las Vegas, Nevada and Southern California that are qualified to perform external Ayurvedic treatments in the comfort of your home or in our facility. She continues to grow her knowledge by teaching basic Ayurvedic principles with online seminars, live in-person seminars and tutoring Ayurvedic students. She is a part of the faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences as a Graduate Assistant. In addition, she has written a book called “The Ayurvedic Practitioners Resource Guide – A Mind Map Guide” to help Ayurvedic Practitioner students better understand Ayurveda.
In the past, Sondra Rubin, along with her youngest daughter both struggled with auto-immune diseases. Using her Ayurvedic education she has been able to successfully manage her own and her family’s health through Ayurveda. This inspired her to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner to help adults and children manage their health through Ayurveda.
Sondra Rubin was a Certified Public Accountant prior to switching professions. She has a long history of dedication to education and used this methodical approach to learning ancient Indian Medicine.
